Pastor Will Gough
Will Gough is the pastor of Grace Bible Church in Cascade, Idaho. He has been in pastoral ministry for 14 years and is committed to the verse-by-verse exposition of God’s word. Pastor Will graduated from Bible College in 2001 and Seminary in 2007, earning a Th.M. Will and his wife, Ardis, live in Donnelly, Idaho with their children, Lily and Eli, and with his other flock…of sheep (actual sheep).
Deacon Steve Loder
Steve and Carol Loder have been with Grace Bible Church since its beginning. Steve is a selfless and dedicated servant of the Lord—a true deacon. Grace Bible Church is blessed to have him.
From Pastor Will
What excites me about Grace Bible Church is that we are committed to doing God’s work, God’s way. Jesus said, “I will build my church.” Our job is to plant the seeds of God’s word, to water new sprouts with that same word, and to watch God cause the growth.
By God’s grace, He has made my call very clear. I am to equip the saints by the word of God so they can do the ministry God has called them to do, to walk in the works that God has prepared in advance for them to walk in.
Equipping takes place when we trust and obey, as we hear and do God’s word. The focus of the ministry God has given me is to preach His word – to proclaim the excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness and into His wonderful light. Then we as a body can minister to one another and to the people in our neighborhood so that the body of Christ can be built up. Namely, that believers will have a deeper walk with the Lord, and that those who do not know Jesus will hear about Him and trust Him for salvation.
God set me on this path when I was living in north Idaho in 1995. I was living in a tipi in the woods. I had just gotten back into a right relationship with the Lord. God pulled me out of a worldly life and into a life centered on His word. I’ve received two calls from the Lord in my life. The first was to study His word full time. The second came at the end of my first year of bible college when He said “I want you to be one of my undershepherds. . . but not for about ten years.” After graduating from bible college, marrying my beautiful bride Ardis, and graduating from seminary, God brought me back to Idaho in December 2007, ten years to the month after giving me that call. God is so faithful. He always keeps His word.
We love Valley County and we are so thankful to get to live here–in such a beautiful place, to have made such wonderful friends, and to serve alongside sincere believers who want to see God’s will done on earth and in our hearts, as it is in heaven.
